MD said that the candidates who will qualify the exam shall undergo six months Certificate Course in Community Health for January 2021 session from IGNOU/ University of Kashmir in designated Programme Study Centres. He said, after successful completion of 6 months training, these candidates shall be placed as Mid Level Health Providers (MLHPs) in the HWCs at Sub-Centre level, to ensure Comprehensive Primary Health Care to the people at grass root level. He said, the Union Territory of J&K has embarked upon an ambitious healthcare up gradation programme to upgrade all the Primary Health Centres, NTPHCs, UPHCs and Sub-Centres as Health and Wellness Centres (H&WCs) by December 2022 in a phased manner.

Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) has initiated Global Housing Technology Challenge India (GHTC-India) which aims to identify and mainstream globally best available proven construction technologies that are sustainable, green and disaster-resilient to enable a paradigm shift in affordable housing. Â
Under this initiative, Light House Projects (LHPs) at six places in the country namely Indore (Madhya Pradesh); Rajkot (Gujarat); Chennai (Tamil Nadu); Ranchi (Jharkhand); Agartala (Tripura) and Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) are being constructed using six distinct innovative technologies identified under GHTC-India. Â
