The Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) will host a webinar entitled Quality Management for Certification: Compliance Made Easier on Tues., May 18 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern.
During this webinar, attendees will learn best practices for developing and organizing a Quality Management System (QMS) manual, or how to improve an existing one. This webinar is complimentary and open to the public.
To qualify for certification under the North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS) or National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) specifications, in addition to third-party laboratory verification of product performance, certification licensees must obtain approval of their current in-plant QMS manual. UNITY MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association) Certification Services is accepting applications for organic certification from crop and livestock producers until June 1.
Adult use and medical cannabis producers interested in certification can apply to the MOFGA Certified Clean Cannabis program through June 30. Application materials and supporting documents can be downloaded at mofgacertification.org and also are available by calling 207-568-6030.
Nationwide interest in certified organic products continues to grow. A recent study from the Organic Produce Network showed 12.7% growth in organic produce sales in the northeast region in 2020.
