Tourism Ministry Introduces Certification Programme To Train Tourist Facilitators, Guides Foreign tourists at a homestay in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. (Photo by Uttarakhand Tourism via Facebook) (representative image) In a bid to boost tourism as well as employment opportunities, the Ministry of Tourism has introduced the Incredible India Tourist Facilitator (IITF) and Incredible India Tourist Guide (IITG) Certification Programme, which is a digital initiative that aims at creating an online learning platform with the objective of creating a pool of well trained and professional Tourist Facilitators and Tourist Guides across the country, including in remote areas with tourism potential. This information was given by Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Prahlad Singh Patel in a written reply in Rajya Sabha on Tuesday (16 March).
