No pandemic can stop Centro Escolar University’s traditions as it officially closes the semester through the Virtual Commencement Exercises with the very first staging of the Virtual Sampaguita Interlude last July 16, 2021 for its Manila and Malolos campuses and July 23, 2021 for its Makati campus.
Both events on the said consecutive dates will begin with the Baccalaureate Mass at 8:00 am. For Manila and Malolos Commencement Exercises, there will be two clusters of graduation rites. The first cluster is for the graduates of the School of Accountancy, School of Dentistry, School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music, Social Work, School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management, School of Science and Technology, School of Medicine and Graduate School.The second one which is set at 2:00 pm will present the graduates of the School of Medical Technology, School of Optometry, School of Pharmacy, and CEU Ma

Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 made its return to the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna Friday, May 14, for the second phase of preparation for this month’s FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Joshua Munzon, CJ Perez, Mo Tautuaa, Santi Santillan and Karl Dehesa re-entered the “Calambubble” while Alvin Pasaol will join the team after missing last week’s training bubble due to health and safety protocols.
Also joining the training bubble are Maodu Malick Diouf, Tonino Gonzaga and Agosto Flor, who were invited by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas for a possible scrimmage with the squad.
