Nominations Open For 2020 Chamber Business Awards

Community members are invited to nominate their favorite businesses for the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce Business Awards!
The Chamber recognizes that ALL of our local businesses had to adapt and evolve during 2020, and did so with determination, grit, and customer focus during the pandemic. As a result, there are a number of new Chamber Business Award categories to highlight these successful changes.
Nominating and voting are open to the public, but only Chamber members are eligible to be nominated.

After a quiet month in December with just nine building permits issued in Mountain Home for a total construction value of $1.4 million, activity has come roaring back. Information just released from the City of Mountain Home indicates 26 permits were issued in January with a construction value of almost $16 million, according to a report from Jeannie Anderson from the Building Inspection Department.
Three of the permits have construction values in excess of $1 million. The three were
– a remodel permit issued to Gregory Company on behalf of Baxter Healthcare, located at 1900 Arkansas Highway 201 North, for a 48,000-square-foot project with a construction value of $8 million;

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Century Bank and Trust employees recently presented a $1,000 check to Family Promise of Branch County.
The funds were raised during the fourth quarter of the year by employees who paid to wear jeans on Fridayâs.
Family Promise of Branch County works with churches, community organizations and care individuals in the community to provide meals, overnight housing and other vital services to homeless women, children and family.
The organization relies heavily on donations and volunteers to help support the homeless needs in the community.
