Called SoGood, the more-than-15-acre mixed-use project is in the works along South Good-Latimer Expressway and Cesar Chavez Boulevard just south of Interstate 30. It’s a development of Dallas-based Hoque Global. The developer recently announced the first phase of the development a 266-unit apartment community to be built by Dallas’ Corsair Ventures.

Dallas’ Hoque Global has been working on plans for the mixed-use development it calls SoGood for more than two years. The project includes redevelopment of the former Pilgrim’s Pride chicken plant on Cesar Chavez, which closed in 2011.
