A California man has been arrested after he was found living in the security zone of Chicago O Hare International Airport. Aditya Singh, 36, reportedly told police he was too afraid to fly back to his home state over fears of contracting COVID-19. He had been hiding in a concealed area for three months before he was finally discovered on Saturday. Singh arrived at O Hare on a flight from Los Angeles on October 19 and had lived in the airport s security zone ever since, prosecutors allege.

A man allegedly lived undetected inside the secure area of Chicago s O Hare International Airport for three months, living off of food provided to him by strangers, before he was arrested this weekend. While this incident remains under investigation, we have been able to determine that this gentleman did not pose a security risk to the airport or to the traveling public, the Chicago Department of Aviation said in a statement Monday. We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners on a thorough investigation of this matter.
