He replaces Mary Cavallaro, who retired in January. Ms. Cavallaro, who had been deputy executive director at the pension fund since 2017, was named interim executive director in October following the resignation of Executive Director Charles A. Burbridge. The status of Ms. Cavallaro s prior position of deputy executive director wasn t known. Mr. Blackwell is president of the pension fund s board of trustees. He has been a member of the board since 2010 and was elected president in 2018.
