BLANCHARD, Okla. (TNN) - A Blanchard man was arrested on child pornography charges Thursday.
Chance Arlan Mason was arrested by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, who were assisted by the Grady County Sheriffs Office and the Chickasha Police Department.
Authorities say the case began in January 2021 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children forwarded a cyber tip from an electronic service provider to the OSBI.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said it arrested a Blanchard man on child pornography charges.
Chance Arlan Mason, 21, was apprehended Thursday with the help of the Grady County Sheriff s Office and the Chickasha Police Department.
Mason has been charged with aggravated possession of child pornography in addition to a violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
The pursuit of Mason began back in January when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children forward a cyber tip to the OSBI, which prompted the opening of an investigation by OSBI s Internet Crimes Against Children unit.

A repeat felon has confessed to killing his neighbor, cutting out her heart and feeding it to his family before murdering his uncle and a four-year-old girl,
Lawrence Paul Anderson, 42, allegedly stabbed the neighbor, Andrea Lynn Blankenship, to death at her home in Chickasha on February 9.

He then went back to his house and stabbed three people – his uncle, aunt and their granddaughter – the same day, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Police were called to the home and found the uncle, 67-year-old Leon Pye, and the child, Kaeos Yates, injured. She was pronounced dead in an ambulance en route to the hospital.
