The UWA International Law Society is proud to host our inaugural networking event of the year, featuring a keynote address by our Chancellor, the Hon Robert French AC, held on Wednesday 21 April at 5pm.
This event will be a chance to connect with students and academics in the UWA community with a focus on international law, and Australia’s place and future in the international legal sphere.
Robert French was appointed Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia in September 2008. At the time of his appointment, he was a judge of the Federal Court of Australia, having been appointed to that office in 1986. During that time, he was also a member of the Supreme Court of Fiji.
