There are 19 new Covid-19 community cases reported today (May 30).
Five of today s community cases are linked to the NTUC Foodfare (308 Anchorvale Road) cluster, according to the Ministry of Health s (MOH) evening report.
Amongst the five linked cases, four were already quarantined, while one was detected through proactive surveillance.
In total, seven confirmed Covid-19 cases (Cases 63853, 63854, 63874, 63883, 64884, 63885 and 63886) are found to be linked to the cluster.
Case 63853
Case 63853 , a 33 year-old male Malaysia national, was reported as an unlinked Covid-19 community case in yesterday, May 29 s report.
Case 63853 works as a kitchen assistant at Hua Zai Eating House Pte Ltd.
He developed loss of taste on May 26 and sought medical treatment at a GP clinic on May 28, where he underwent both an ART and PCR test, and was immediately isolated when his ART result came back positive on the same day.
A total of six unlinked cases were confirmed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on May 25, along with 12 linked community cases.
Together with nine imported cases and three cases found in the dormitories, this brings the total number of cases to 61,890.
Six unlinked cases
Case 63683 is a 29-year-old male Malaysian who works at Tiger Sugar Bubble Tea (Holland Piazza).
He developed a fever and sore throat on May 21 and sought medical treatment at a general practitioner (GP) clinic the same day, where he was tested for Covid-19.
His test result came back positive on May 24; his serology test result is negative.
This brings the total number of cases to 61,799.
There are 22 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 15 are linked to previous cases.
The remaining seven cases are unlinked.
Unlinked cases
Here are the details for the unlinked cases:
Case 63568 is a 47-year-old male Malaysia national who is currently unemployed. He was detected when he was tested on May 19 as part of our Rostered Routine Testing (RRT) of migrant workers.
On May 20, he developed a runny nose but did not seek medical attention. His RRT result came back positive for Covid-19 infection on May 21.
His earlier tests from RRT – the last being on May 5 – were all negative for Covid-19 infection. His serology test result is negative.
This brings the total number of cases to 61,730.
There are 27 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, of whom 21 are linked to previous cases.
Six of them are unlinked.
Amongst the locally transmitted cases, 15 had already been placed on quarantine earlier.

59-year-old female Singaporean who works at Mary Fashion and Trading
Developed cough on May 15 and sought medical treatment at a General Practitioner (GP) clinic on May 17
Tested for Covid-19 on May 18, result came back positive on May 19
Serology test result is pending
Received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine on Mar.21 and the second dose on Apr.11.
