Singapore Exchange Named Regulation Asia’s Exchange Of The Year For 3rd Year Running Date 16/12/2020 Singapore Exchange (SGX) has again been recognised as the “Exchange of the Year” in the 3 rd Regulation Asia Awards for Excellence 2020. This is the third time SGX has received the accolade. The 2020 award recognised SGX’s achievements in sustainability and innovation. Cited in the award were SGX’s initiatives to boost awareness of ESG and sustainability issues. Among others, SGX reviewed companies’ sustainability disclosures to identify areas for improvement, held discussions and focus groups to understand financial institutions’ needs regarding ESG, and increased investor awareness and understanding of sustainability disclosures.
