SINGAPORE, April 30 (Xinhua) Business expectations for the six months from April improved among Singapore s manufacturing and services firms, according to survey reports released by Singapore s Economic Development Board (EDB) and Department of Statistics (DOS) on Friday.
The survey released by the EDB on business expectations of the manufacturing sector showed that a weighted 41 percent of Singaporean manufacturers believe business conditions will improve, while a weighted 3 percent foresee a weaker business outlook.
Overall, a net weighted balance of 38 percent of manufacturers anticipates a more favorable business situation for the second and third quarters of 2021, compared to the first quarter.
