Guv debunks narrative labeling Sturgis a super-spreader

Guv debunks narrative labeling Sturgis a super-spreader Thursday, May 6, 2021  |  Chad Groening (OneNewsNow.com) Spanish The governor of South Dakota is accusing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of basing COVID claims on politics – not on scientific data. The mainstream media was relentless in attacking Governor Kristi Noem for refusing to shut down South Dakota during the height of the pandemic scare in 2020, including the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally held last August, which the CDC claims caused widespread transmission of COVID-19. In addition, a study conducted in September by a German institute described the rally as a potential COVID super-spreader. Connecticut is the 43rd-best state in the country for business in 2021, according to a new poll of the nation’s CEOs, a low ranking that nonetheless marks a three-place improvement for the state since last year. Lamont, who took office in 2019, has been generally praised for his handling of the health crisis, which helped bring transmission rates under control last year despite Connecticut’s close proximity to New York City, at the time the national epicenter for coronavirus infections. He has also overseen a faster reopening schedule than most of his Democratic counterpart

We continuously pushed back, and I’m glad that some of those facts are coming to light today.” The facts Noem referred to is new research from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published in the journal
