Annual National Day of Prayer 2021 goes virtual, with theme “Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done” Published: 07 January 2021
PHILIPSBURG – The Government of Sint Maarten in collaboration with the St. Maarten Christian Council, St. Maarten United Ministerial Foundation, and the Seventh Day Adventist Church will host the annual National Day of Prayer. The annual event is held on the second Sunday in January, which falls on, January 10th, 2021.
This year’s event with the theme “Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done” will be a virtual video presentation due to the ongoing COVID-19 protocols that discourage large social gatherings. The public is encouraged to view the service by tuning in live on the Government of St. Maarten’s Facebook page and YouTube Channel on January 10th, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. It will also be broadcasted on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115 at 8:00 p.m. on the same evening.

PHILIPSBURG: - Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs invites families and friends at home and abroad to share in the Christmas messages brought to you by the Government of Sint Maarten civil servants. The virtual “Civil Servants Christmas Special” will be available for viewing on December 24th, at 9:00 am and rebroadcasted on Christmas Day via the Department of Communication (DCOMM) media outlets (SXMGOV Facebook & YouTube) and via Sint Maarten Cable TV Channel 115 on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25 from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
