Singer, dancer and pianist, Natalia has always has always enjoyed a musical competition, as proven by the number of awards in her trophy cabinet! Accolades include winning a major prize at the prestigious International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Belarus, and picking up the honorary title of ‘Emeritus Artist’ of Moldova in 2008. No stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest, the decorated vocalist represented her nation in 2006 alongside Arsenie Todiraș (once of boyband O-Zone, famed for their smash hit Dragostea Din Tei) with the track Loca (finishing in 20th place), and was also due to compete in 2020 with the track Prison. The sweet symphony Sugar was composed by pop powerhouses Dimitris Kontopoulos and Philipp Kirkorov, with lyrics by Mikhail Gutse

The 2020 Contest entry from Daði Freyr and The Data was the international juggernaut Think About Things , which saw the pixelated jumper-wearing group win international fans, attract celebrity endorsements and achieve chart success across Europe and in which Daði pondered on his newly born daughter s (Áróra) opinion on the world around her.

The last time I saw James Newman, he was singing on top of the world. Or, at least, the upper floor of a central London private members’ club, before an audience of music industry and BBC grandees. The musician was launching his new single, My Last Breath, a song whose very existence had been a matter of utmost national secrecy for many months.
Posting on Twitter in January, Freyr said that while he was âalmost finishedâ with his song, he needed people to help him out remotely with a âhuge a cappella choir partâ as he was unable to arrange an in-person choir due to the pandemic.
âThank you very much, I hope that you will want to be on my Eurovision song. If not, then have a nice day. But if [so], then have an even nicer day,â he said.

NME: âRight now, Iâm making around 11 rough demos and ideas, then Iâll pick one and focus on that. I want to release an EP somewhere around Eurovision, but Iâm not going to promise anything because I have to go on tour and do a bunch of stuff for Eurovision.
