Governor calls for uninterrupted power supply during Sehr, Iftar

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has urged the management of K-Electric (KE) to take all possible measures to ensure that the residential consumers in Karachi get uninterrupted power supply during Sehr and Iftar timings in Ramazan.
The governor stated this on Wednesday as he met at Governor House a three-member delegation of the KE led by its chief executive officer (CEO) Moonis Abdullah Alvi. The KE CEO on the occasion reiterated the resolve of the power utility to extend maximum relief to the power consumers of Karachi during Ramazan.
He said the power utility had been doing its best to utilise electricity available to it to overcome the widening gap between demand and supply of power during summer. He informed Ismail that the power utility would extend maximum relief to the domestic and commercial consumers during the holy month.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Wednesday stressed upon the management of K-Electric to provide maximum relief from load-shedding to residential and commercial customers during Sehr and Iftar times.
He said this while talking to a 3-member delegation led by CEO, K-Electric, Syed Moonis Abdullah at Governor House, according to a statement here.
CEO, K-Electric while highlighting KE’s commitment of providing maximum relief to the people of Karachi during the holy month, said, ‘KE aims to utilize maximum available generation to manage the shortfall against peak summer demand and load management if required, would be carried out with maximum relief to domestic and commercial consumers during Sehr and Iftar.’

Prime Minister Imran Khan will soon visit and announce a big package , especially for rural areas, said Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Tuesday.
The governor was addressing the inauguration ceremony of an exhibition organised by the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications to mark the 83rd death anniversary of Dr Allam Muhammad Iqbal.
Ismail said, Youngsters must know about the services and roles of our heroes in the creation of Pakistan and such events are ideal for raising awareness about the services of our heroes among the young generation.

Ambassador of China, Nong Rong on Wednesday called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail at Governor House. They exchanged views on matters of mutual interests and cooperation.
Governor Imran Ismail on the occasion said that Pakistan and China enjoy deep political mutual trust and friendly relations between the two countries are deeply rooted in the people.
‘Pakistan highly values its friendship with China and worth its strong support and assistance for the development of Pakistan.
