Sindh Govt hints at dissolving provincial assembly

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led Sindh government on Monday hinted at the dissolution of provincial assembly in the wake of Pakistan Democratic Movement campaign against the federal government, Dunya News reported.
Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab while addressing a press conference in Karachi on Monday has said that the PPP can consider dissolving the Sindh Assembly.
Murtaza Wahab said that the chief minister has the right to dissolve assemblies under the Constitution and added that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has tendered resignation to party leadership before he left the country on a private visit.

THATTA: Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Social Welfare Aijaz Ali Shah Sheerazi has died of the coronavirus, his spokesperson, Muhammad Hanif confirmed Thursday.
Aijaz was being treated at a hospital in Karachi. His funeral prayers and burial will be held in Thatta.
The Sindh CM’s adviser on social welfare was the head of the Sheerazi group. He was suffering from a lung ailment.
Provincial Ministers Ismail Rahu, Owais Shah and Manzoor Wasan expressed their grief over the death the Sindh government official.
