Sault Schools report new COVID-19 cases

Sault Schools report new COVID-19 cases SAULT STE. MARIE  Sault Area Schools announced seven new positive cases in its district on Tuesday.  In a letter from superintendent Dr. Tim Hall, these cases were at Sault High School, Sault Middle School, Lincoln Elementary and Washington Elementary. The affected individuals are under quarantine. The Chippewa County Health Department is investigating the cases and conducting contact tracing to determine close contacts. Those identified as close contacts will be contacted directly by the Chippewa County Health Department and receive instructions on what to do next. It is clear that COVID is still a concern in our community we encourage everyone to please remember to practice the three Ws, said Hall in the letter. These practices are very important if we want to keep our kids in school.
