CAR SMASHES THROUGH WINDOW OF CITY BUILDING: A car crashed completely inside a building on James Street in Syracuse Thursday afternoon. The crash happened at about 3:10 p.m. at 2425 James, according to the Onondaga County 911 Center. The car went through a glass window front and came to a stop inside the building.

St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview might be an option for high schools looking for a place for commencements this June.
The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry will kick off the commencement season at the Amp on Saturday.
The outdoor venue also is available for high school graduations, Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon said today. ESF will hold two ceremonies Saturday. That graduation will be the first event at the amphitheater since the coronavirus pandemic started in March 2020.

Syracuse, N.Y. - The Syracuse City School District’s five high schools are looking to hold in-person commencement ceremonies this June.
The ceremonies are scheduled to be held at NBT Bank Stadium, June 17th thru the 20th.
There will be about 1400 students who will receive their diplomas. Last June, the schools held drive-by graduation due to COVID-19.
