Mark William Wasmund, 62, of Syracuse, died Tuesday.
Wasmund graduated from Syracuse University in 1981 and obtained his law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1984, according to his obituary.
He started his career working for the City of Myrtle Beach, SC, as a risk manager. He started a private practice and then joined the Mackenzie Hughes Law Firm in Syracuse, where he became a partner.
“Mark’s great intelligence, dry wit and even temperament under pressure was admired and appreciated by all who had the opportunity to work with him,” the law firm said on its website. “Mark was unwavering in his devotion to his clients, his partners, his staff, his community and most importantly, his family.”
