Teachers jumped at the chance to get the one & done shot. As of today, Tuesday, April 13, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and the U.S Food and Drug Administration have recommended pausing the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Why the Pause? Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis (CVST) Blood Clots have appeared to be a serious side effect in some patients. The information from the CDC and FDA states that this is rare, and only six patients have been reported so far. I will go out on a limb and say there will be more. One of my co-workers had the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and is now dealing with a serious blood clot in his leg.
