Chamber Fest In Sulphur Set For May 29
The West Calcasieu Chamber of Commerce is holding a festival in Sulphur, Louisiana called Chamber Fest and it goes down on Saturday, May 29th. The festivals theme is called Red, White and Run.
The event will feature a 5k run and it all gets started at 7:30am at the Heritage Square in Sulphur. To participate in the run you will need to register on the
Chambers Website Hereand the cost is $45 to enter. Registration ends on May 27 so sign up soon.
The festival gets underway at 9:00am. This is a free event and open to the public.
LaGrange Gators Are Having a Parade This Saturday
As we continue to say congratulations to the Lady Gators for pulling off for another victory of becoming the LHSAA State Champions, LeGrange has announced they will be having a victory parade this Saturday, March 13, beginning at 2:00pm.
Floats will head east on College Street, south on Louisiana Avenue, west on School Street, and north on Kirkman Street before arriving at LaGrange Stadium. This is a time to truly show our young ladies how proud of them we are if you can make it out.
If you would like to be a part of this huge parade, the lineup will begin at 12:45pm in the stadium parking lot. All of the details about the parade can be obtained in the school s front office. The entry fee parade is only $10, and the deadline to enter is this Friday, March 12.
