Did Aaron Jones Just Play His Final Game in Green Bay?
As Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers celebrated their Super Bowl berth on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers have to live with their second consecutive loss in the NFC Championship game over back-to-back seasons.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers now head into an offseason to try and recollect themselves after a dominant regular season run and a top seed spot in the playoffs. Though, due to salary cap issues that will come up, several members enter the offseason with more uncertainty than others on this roster.
El Pasoan Aaron Jones may have played his final game for the Packers on Sunday with his looming free agency hanging in the balance. It was a rough outing for Jones, who fumbled on two occasions, and suffered a chest injury during the second fumble. Subsequently, he wouldn’t return back to the game and missed the majority of the second half. He totaled only 27 rushing yards against a stifling Bucs defense.
Even if you’re not a football fan Super Bowl 55 will provide a bit of a diversion for the next two weeks from the reality of COVID-19, talk of impeachment and all the other negative vitriol that seems to dominate our daily lives.

Buffalo Bills Fans Can Watch the Playoff Game on Chippewa
Buffalo Bills fans who are looking for a place to watch the playoff game on Sunday are welcome on Chippewa Street again. After New York State said no to the Playoffs on the Patios last week, Mayor Byron Brown has given the event the green light this week. According to WIVB, Mayor Brown has been working with restaurant owners to organize the playoffs party.
Chippewa Street to Close for Bills Viewing on Sunday
If you are planning to head to Chippewa to be a part of the viewing and celebration, the street will be closed off the vehicles starting at 1 pm on Sunday, January 23, 2021. It will remain closed until 11:30 pm from Franklin Street to Delaware Street. Tables, chairs, and two very large LED tables will be set up for fans.
