Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova has said there is no working communication between detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and prosecutors of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) in the Rotterdam+ case and announced the replacement of the senior of prosecutors’ team in this criminal proceeding.
“There is one criminal proceeding, during the investigation of which I have to draw attention to the complete lack of effective working communication between the NABU detectives and the SAPO prosecutors […] This is the so-called ‘R+ case, ” the prosecutor general said on her Facebook page on May 5.

Manhattan federal prosecutors investigating Rudy Giuliani reportedly have a bizarre episode in their crosshairs: the firing of former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.
The New York Times reported on Thursday that federal prosecutors are focused in part on Giuliani’s dealings with Yuriy Lutsenko, the country’s former prosecutor general. As the chief law enforcement official in the country, Lutsenko was the target of efforts by the United States and Ukraine’s Western backers to tamp down on the corruption that largely defines the country’s political and economic system.
From the standpoint of Ukrainian officials and businessmen, the anti-corruption efforts pushed by then-Vice President Joe Biden and by Yovanovitch constituted a potentially mortal threat.

Federal investigators in Manhattan executed a search warrant today on former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani s Upper East Side apartment, according to the
New York Times, whose three anonymous sources say is an escalation of a criminal investigation into Mr. Giuliani s dealings in Ukraine.
According to the report,
Executing a search warrant is an extraordinary move for prosecutors to take against a lawyer, let alone a lawyer for a former president, and it marks a major turning point in the long-running investigation into Mr. Giuliani.
Among other things, Giuliani s electronic devices were reportedly seized as part of the search, according to one of the sources.
