More than 2,000 Special Olympics athletes from over 100 countries will compete in seven sports, and will be supported by 3,000 volunteers. United Through Sports and Swiss Faustball among IFA Awards winners Sunday, 10 January 2021 The International Fistball Association (IFA) has crowned winners of its 2020 awards during a virtual ceremony, with United Through Sports (UTS) President Stephan Fox among them. The IFA Awards were launched in 2019, and the latest edition included honours for sport welfare, media work and a lifetime achievement award. Fox and UTS chief executive Julia Govinden received the IFA 2020 Sport for Good Award due to their organisation of the United Through Sports World Virtual Youth Festival. More than 80 sports organisations came together for the event under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee, International Paralympic Committee, Special Olympics International, SportAccord and the Global Association of International Sports Federations.
