U.S. State Department
In its annual “Country Report” State Dept. also highlights rise in hate speech against Armenians in Turkey
In its 2020 Country Report on Human Rights Practices, the State Department confirmed that Turkey played a role in last fall’s Karabakh war and highlighted that Azerbaijan committed what amount to be war crimes during its aggressive attacks against Artsakh.
Among the war crimes highlighted in the report were examples of Azerbaijan’s military strikes against civilian targets and the torture and abuse of Armenian prisoners.
The report states that Azerbaijan’s invasion of Nagorno-Karabakh was conducted “with Turkish support”.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko
Official Moscow is convinced that the OSCE Minsk Group should play a leading role in advancing a settlement for the Karabakh conflict, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said in an interview on Sunday.
Late last week, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in a speech delivered at the virtual summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States that the OSCE Minks Group co-chairs played “zero” role in resolving the conflict, claiming that his policy of aggression ensured a “victory” for Azerbaijan.
“We are convinced that the format of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs should play a leading role in the future in overcoming the consequences of the crisis and in finding ways for a lasting and long-term political and diplomatic solution to the conflict,” Rudenko told the Moscow-Baku news agency in an interview.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The second-ranked Florida State beach volleyball team (22-1) split their two matches with No. 1 USC (13-1) on Saturday at Merle Norman Stadium in Los Angeles. It was FSU’s second win over the number one ranked team in the country this season.
USC took the first match 4-1 but the Seminoles responded by winning the second match 3-2. Alaina Chacon and Molly McBain clinched the match in a third set on court one for the Garnet and Gold.
“I am so proud of our team and our resiliency,” said head coach Brooke Niles. “We came out this morning and didn’t play like ourselves. We were tentative and not focused on our game plans. I’m so proud of how we adjusted after a quick turnaround, especially after being down 0-2 again. We kept fighting and clawing our way to each point.”
We Continue to Walk the Path of the Resurrection
“I Am The Resurrection And The Life” (John 11:25)
The past year saw the world awaiting a divine intervention–an intervention that would transform the world and our lives, with the hope of which we live and strive and subsist amid all troubles and impediments. Undeniably, this past year was rife with a wide range of challenges and pressing crises which further affirmed that, as human beings, we are powerless, incapable, and alone without God. Yes, the world today awaits a divine intervention; in particular we, children of the Armenian nation, as we continue to face the bitter consequences of the latest war in Artsakh, the agony of lives and lands lost which has left a gaping wound in our hearts. However, it is not befitting a Christian nation to fall into despair and be shrouded in hopelessness. On the contrary; today on the glorious feast of the Resurrection, the Prince of Glory appears gloriously to the world. Thus, we are all
