The FCSO has suspended him without pay pending an investigation, according to an FCSO news release. “Sheriff Staly is extremely disappointed in his behavior,” FCSO Chief of Staff Mark Strobridge said in the news release. “Sheriff Staly has made the reduction of domestic violence a priority since becoming sheriff, and this proves that no one is immune from it or from being arrested if they violate the law. Sheriff Staly does not condone this behavior and will not tolerate it from deputy sheriffs wearing a badge pledging to serve and protect.”

Flagler County Sheriff s corporal charged with domestic violence

A 14-year veteran with the rank of corporal at the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office was arrested Friday and charged with domestic battery, according to a press release and affidavit. Mark Anthony Moy was assigned as a major case corporal in the Special Victims Unit of the Investigative Services Division, according to the release from the sheriff’s office. Moy was booked into the Flagler County jail on Friday at 6:14 p.m. and released at 9:05 a.m. Saturday. He was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. Moy was suspended without pay and relieved of his duties as the sheriff’s office further investigates the incident.

Police: Monroeville man facing multiple sexual assault charges

A Monroeville man was arrested last week on multiple sexual assault charges stemming from the early 2000s, according to Pittsburgh police. Raymond Dixon Jr., 36, was arrested Feb. 4. He faces charges of unlawful contact with a minor, two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, two counts of indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, indecent expose and corruption of minors. Court documents show the incidents allegedly occurred in 2003. The charges were brought forward after a victim in June went to Pittsburgh police, who investigated the allegations, according to spokesman Chris Togneri.

When officers located the boy, who was under the foster care of Brown, he was confined to a bedroom and tethered to a fan by chains and padlocks, according to Newark s public safety director Anthony Ambrose.
