Longtime Officer Thomas Mosier Elevated to Rank of Chief
for Township Police Department
January 13, 2021 – Thirty years ago, a lifelong Piscataway resident began his law enforcement career in his hometown as a patrol officer. Now three decades later, Thomas Mosier was sworn in as the full Chief of the Piscataway Township Police Department, one year after having been promoted from captain to acting chief.
“Protecting and serving all Piscataway residents continues to be my guiding principle,” Chief Mosier said. “The department’s good relationship with our Township’s diverse residents and several neighborhoods is a testament to the rank and file of our professional and admired police force which I am proud to lead.”
