Saturday, July 10 was a magical day in Casper. Driving up and down the streets, you may have noticed that things looked a little different. More cars were parked on the side of the road. More children were running amuck. More people were holding red (or blue, or green) solo cups. And more front yards and business parking lots were adorned with extremely creative lemonade stands.

It was Lemonade Day in Casper and, as always, the community did not disappoint. Dozens and dozens of children began their careers in entrepreneurship on this day, and the results were inspiring.

(Riverton, WY) – After three years of preparations, assessments, a pandemic and more the Boys & Girls Club of Central Wyoming is planning to open a second location in Fremont County.
With their focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles as well as good character and citizenship, BGCCW is excited to transform out-of-school time into engaging personal and academic development for our local youth.

With several key items coming together these past three years with the help of Fremont County School District #25 and ‘R’ Recreation – community assistance is now needed to make this happen, noted BGCCW Director of Operations Jessica Baxter.
The BGCCW has 10 club sites currently, including Dubois. They are connected to the Boys & Girls Club of America, however, maintain autonomy to make the best decisions for Wyoming youth – especially when it comes to the Cowboy Ethics.
FirstHealth of the Carolinas has named three executives to its top ranks including an incoming chief operating officer and two longtime employees who have been promoted from interim roles.
Jonathan Davis, MPH, FACHE will be the new chief operating officer (COO) for the FirstHealth system. He is joined by Jeff Casey and Jenifir Bruno, M.D., as chief financial officer (CFO) and chief medical officer (CMO), respectively. Both have served in these positions on an interim basis since the summer.
âWe are excited to welcome Jonathan to the FirstHealth family,â said CEO Mickey W. Foster. âHe has a wealth of experience and a valuable skill set that will make a positive impact on the operations of our health system.â
