HERSHEY, Pa. Penn State Health has appointed Ethel Randall to the newly created position of vice president of Cancer Services.
The health system created the position as part of its efforts to seamlessly deliver advanced, personalized care and the high-value, close-to-home care people with cancer need.
“Ethel will lead operational strategy and foster enhanced coordination for our cancer programs across all of Penn State Health’s hospitals and medical group practices,” said Tom Stoessel, executive vice president, Penn State Health. “Her innovative style and experience scaling a system approach across communities will be instrumental in growing our programs to meet demand while delivering the highest quality patient care.”

State Sen. Sandra Williams became the latest entrant in the Cleveland mayoral race Monday, joining a crowded contest that could give the city its first new mayor in 16 years.
Joined by family and supporters, Williams kicked off her campaign at the Harvard Community Services Center in the city’s Lee-Harvard neighborhood.
If elected, she would be Cleveland’s first Black woman mayor and only the second woman to hold the position.
“Our city needs a woman,” Williams told supporters Monday. “A woman who has a history of delivering real results to the city of Cleveland.”

CLEVELAND (WOIO) - Ohio State Senator Sandra Williams announced Monday morning she’s running for Cleveland mayor.
Williams, a Democrat, is currently in her second term representing Cleveland and other parts of Cuyahoga County in the Ohio Senate. If elected, she would be the first Black female mayor of Cleveland.
She also sponsored legislation named after Alianna DeFreeze, a 14-year-old from Cleveland who was kidnapped and murdered on her way to school in January 2017. The bill would require schools to notify parents within two hours of their child failing to show up to school.

I am not alone in being ready for a little less structure and a lot more freedom. So, let’s knock out these last few weeks of school and sail swiftly into that summer lifestyle that truly cannot come soon enough.
I don’t know about you guys, but I am so ready for this school year to be over. Oh don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love my girls’ school and their teachers and all that they have poured into them this year! It’s just, I am so sick of the schedule, early mornings and lack of sleep.
