SHAH ALAM: The main suspect who assaulted his bodyguards for fasting last week will be charged at the Klang and Kuala Lumpur Magistrate Court tomorrow.
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief SAC Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal (pix) said the prosecution department chief of the Attorney-General’s Chambers agreed to charge the suspect under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation by pointing a pistol at one of the victims.
He said the employer will also be charged under Section 109/304 of the same code for conspiring to order his assistant to cane the two victims. He also faces a charge under Section 323 of the same act for slapping and kneeing one of the victim in his abdomen.

ALAM: The ‘Lanun Merah Black Maria 360’ gang, which is suspected to be headed by the husband of a police officer in Kuala Lumpur, was previously known as the ‘Four-Wheel Drive Group’, according to Selangor police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed.
He said the gang was believed to be involved in criminal activities such as dumping of rubbish and toxic waste, drug distribution and smuggling of illegal immigrants around Klang in 2019.
“Selangor Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has investigated the gang since 2019. However, there was no solid evidence to connect them with the criminal activities at that time,” he told a press conference at the state Police Contingent Headquarters today.
According to the victim s friend, Rizwan Ahmad, the incident happened on the night of April 4, Sunday, outside the Alam Impian Mosque.
The Chief of Selangor s Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Fadzil Ahmad, said that investigations are attempting to establish the motives of the alleged perpetrators.

Rizwan added that on the night of the incident, his friend was approached by the four men who allegedly asked him if he was married, and whether he had sex with his partner in Malaysia.
In response, the victim said that he was married, with his partner back in Pakistan, and that he has not had sexual relations in Malaysia.
