The hospital was renamed the Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital after a $75 million donation from the billionaires in 2015. The officials said Facebook had endangered public health by allowing misinformation to spread. San Francisco s only public hospital should not bear the name of a person responsible for endangering public health in our country and around the world and yet it does, Gordon Mar, the lead sponsor of the measure, said, per Vox.
