Popular Hudson Valley Business Sold to Become a Movie Studio The sale comes as a surprise to many. One of the more popular wedding venues in the Hudson Valley has announced that they ve sold their property for an undisclosed amount to a company that plans to turn it into a motion picture production studio. According to a press release from the Bonura Hospitality Group, owners of Anthony s Pier 9, they ve entered into contract to sell the venue and are expecting the sale to close sometime in June. Owner Joseph Bonura Jr. did point to the COVID pandemic as a prime reason for selling. Anthony s Pier 9, located on route 9W in New Windsor, has been one of the premiere wedding and special event venues in the Hudson Valley for 40 plus years.

It Was One Of The Earliest Tornado Watches on Record For SE MN Get our free mobile app Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The early-season tornado watch issued for southeast Minnesota Wednesday was among the earliest on record. The Rochester area enjoyed a second straight day of 61-degree weather but the warm weather was part of an unstable system that moved through the region during the late afternoon. A tornado watch was issued for the region but there were no reports of severe weather. Wind gusts of 50 mph were reported in the Stewartville and Kasson areas.   Hail and strong winds were reported in southern parts of the Twin Cities metro. Threatening wall clouds were spotted in the Faribault, Northfield, and Dundas areas and that prompted the National Weather Service to issue a tornado warning at 5:15
