The USPS Is Getting New Funky Looking Trucks With a Boring Name
The United States Postal Service is getting a new truck that will be saddling up to your mail box in 2023. It s the NGDV, or Next Generation Delivery Vehicle which is being purpose built for the U.S. Postal Service.
I saw a picture of the new truck and thought cool, these are unique looking. To me it goes back to the 1970 s when the U.S.P.S delivered mail in jeeps. Jeeps weren t everywhere back then. And the U.S.P.S Jeeps with the sliding doors on the side, they were pretty unique looking too.
Governor Phil Murphy says there is still concern about the COVID variants but “it feels like the ground is beginning to shift” and more restrictions could soon be lifted.
Update: Hasbro has apparently backtracked on their decision to remove the Mr. from their Mr. Potato Head toys.
In a tweet sent at 2:37 p.m. on Thursday, hours after announcing the initial change, Hasbro tweeted out the following message:
Hold that Tot – your main spud, MR. POTATO HEAD isn’t going anywhere! While it was announced today that the POTATO HEAD brand name & logo are dropping the ‘MR.’ I yam proud to confirm that MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD aren’t going anywhere and will remain MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD
Taking the tweet at face value, it appears that the toy company has had a change of heart about dropping Mr. from the toy.
