Reheating memories of past Chili Cook Offs: Olmsted Dates and Data
OLMSTED FALLS, Ohio – Here in Olmsted, Sunday’s moniker was Chili Bowl.
The Olmsted Community Church normally has its Chili Cook Off around this time of year. Well, due to the virus, that did not occur.
It did create, however, a Souper Bowl of Caring. It is asking its congregation, and the community, if you will, to donate non-perishable food or monetary donations to this event. The food items will go to our Christians in Action local food pantry. Food donations may be dropped off through Feb. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Olmsted Community Church, at the Olmsted Township police station and Olmsted Community Center. Monetary donations may be made by going to the church’s website.

There ll be a Red Cross Blood Drive THIS coming Monday afternoon, the 8th, in Fairfield. The Drive will be up & running from 1 until 6 o clock at the Fairfield Community Hall, 503 1st Avenue South. The “Drive” Comes 2 Shelby
There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive here in Shelby, next Thursday, the 4th. The Drive will be from noon until 6, over at the Shelby Civic Center. You can make an appointment NOW by calling the Red Cross at 868 0911. As we continue to work our way through the COVID-19 challenges, our American Red Cross of Montana continues to address the real need for convalescent plasma. Here s hoping you can donate the Gift of Life this coming Thursday at the civic center.
