Rangers face wait to discover Champions League seeding fate

Rangers are waiting to discover if they will be one of the seeded sides in the Champions League Third Qualifying Round draw as they make their return to Europe’s premier competition for the first time in a decade – and the Light Blues will be closely watching the outcome of the Danish title race.
The Gers could yet end up seeded depending on who is crowned champion in Denmark with three teams still in the title race going into the final games.
Midtjylland are top of the table as things stand and have one game left to play but Brondy and Copenhagen could still overtake them and snatch the title.

One of the most successful Canadians to ever play in Europe, Atiba Hutchinson added to his legacy on the weekend. His Beşiktaş side won the Turkish Süper Lig for the first time since the 2016–17 season on Saturday, beating Göztepe 2–1.
They finished equal on points with Galatasaray, and with just two more than Fenerbahçe, but won based on the first tiebreaker – head-to-head record.
It’s the third Süper Lig title for Hutchinson, who also won the Danish Superliga during his time with FC Copenhagen.

Jakovic spent the last three season with Los Angeles FC but was out of contract after the 2020 campaign. He also played five seasons (2009-13) with D.C. United in Major League Soccer.
