Successful applicants under the Air Travel Pass (ATP) scheme will be allowed into Singapore without needing to quarantine, but as the arrangement is not a reciprocal “travel bubble,” those who choose to take up the offer will have to undergo mandatory self-isolation at government-designated facilities upon returning to Taiwan. Fortunately, the quarantine period has been shortened to five days instead of the usual 14 days, as Singapore is classified by Taiwanese health authorities as a low-risk country.
