Sri Lanka has decided to postpone launching the proposed travel bubble” with India, in the wake of the recent surge in Covid-19 cases in India, officials at the Indian Ministry of Tourism said.
We are just postponing the bubble, this is not a cancellation. When things get better in India, we look forward to launching the travel bubble,” an official at the Ministry told The Hindu. Elderly couple moves court seeking compensation from Air India
The Delhi High Court on Monday issued notice to the Civil Aviation Ministry on a petition by an elderly couple seeking compensation from Air India alleging that in their 16-hour-long flight, the national carrier was without sufficient food and medical supplies.
Justice Prathiba M. Singh also issued notices to Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Air India, and Airport Authority of India (AAI) on the plea filed by couple Nivedita and Anil Sharma.

Air India Express (AIE) has scaled up its daily cargo operations, using its B-737-800 fleet to lift agricultural products, chiefly fruits and vegetables, to West Asian countries, Singapore and Malaysia.
