BUFFALO, N.Y. Former Erie County Executive Dennis Gorski has died.
Gorski died at the age of 76 from Parkinson s Disease, which may have been related to Agent Orange exposure when he served as a Marine Corps officer in Vietnam.
Gorski, who was also a New York State assemblyman, ran Erie County government from 1988 through 1999. He most recently served as a Cheektowaga Town Court Justice.

Four Western New York men have been arrested after $400,000 worth of marijuana was seized at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
The Sacramento Bee reports authorities found about 120 pounds of weed stuffed inside five bags on an American Airlines flight from Sacramento, California, to Buffalo, N.Y., on Saturday after law enforcement officials received a tip. According to the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Police Department, a K9 team responded with a “free air sniff” of the luggage and police dog “Zev” alerted officers to the presence of a narcotics odor on the suspicious bags.
