  ISLAMABAD, July 27 (Gwadar Pro) - Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday afternoon predicted that Pakistan s ports will provide important trade routes under the multi-billion-dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).   In a meeting with Adviser on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood, PM said Pakistan welcomed the strengthening of trade relations with the Central Asian states for the economic prosperity of the entire region.   The PM commended the Ministry of Commerce and the Board of Investment (BoI) for prioritizing enhancing trade relations with Central Asian states for the first time in the country’s history, said an official statement released by the PM’s office.

Feasibility study of two CPEC projects to be completed by mid-August--China Economic Net

  ISLAMABAD, July 27 (Gwadar Pro) -  The feasibility study of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)’s Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) and Railways Freight Corridor projects will be completed by the middle of August, a high-level meeting was told on Monday afternoon.   Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar chaired the meeting to review the status of preparation and processing of KCR and Railways Freight Corridor projects. Important issues related to the freight corridor were discussed and reviewed in the meeting, said an official statement.   The meeting was informed that the feasibility study of the Freight Corridor has been completed. It has been decided in the meeting that to gauge the level of investor s interest, all relevant important decisions must be taken within a month by all the concerned departments, added the statement.
