JHELUM: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Thursday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is going to get a landslide victory in the upcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections, ARY News reported.
Fawad Chaudhry, while addressing a press conference in Jhelum, announced that Prime Minister Imran Khan is going to address two major rallies in Azad Kashmir on Friday (today).
He said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz was delivering confused statements during the AJK election campaign, whereas, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari left the campaign incomplete to head towards the United States (US).
Fawad Chaudhry expressed hopes that PTI will also make its government in Azad Kashmir after getting victorious in the Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) region. He added that the country’s narrative for Kashmir will further strengthen after the victory of PTI.

Islamabad, Pakistan: On the invitation of the State Councilor and Foreign Minister Mr. Wang Yi, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will visit China from 23-24 July 2021.
The Foreign Minister will be accompanied by senior officials. The visit is part of the high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China.
During the visit, both sides will inter alia discuss further deepening of bilateral relations, focus on cooperation in the high-quality development under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), defence and security cooperation, Covid-19 vaccines, counter-terrorism, and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The visit will play an important role in further strengthening Pakistan-China “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” and will expand strategic communication and coordination with China on a range of issues.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi landed in China for an ‘important’ two-day visit to hold a round of talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi. The two neighbouring countries to India aim to hold strategic dialogue on the bilateral infrastructure project China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a $46 billion project launched on April 20, 2015, by the Chinese President Xi Jinping and the then Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which involves connectivity via rail, road, and air between the deep-sea Pakistani ports of Gwadar and Karachi to China’s Xinjiang province.

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi arrived in China for a two-day visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, said the Foreign Office in a statement on Friday.
He was greeted at the Chengdu airport by senior officials of the Chinese foreign ministry.
