He said that the PTI-led government has pushed 20 million people into poverty and has heavily burdened people by increasing price of electricity by more than 62%.

Daily Times June 2, 2021 President Dr Arif Alvi has called upon the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organisation (ECO) to develop a firm partnership to address the issues faced by them. The president said this while addressing the inaugural session of the General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of ECO on Tuesday.
