Rescue teams have been dispatched to the epicenter and seven trapped local residents have been rescued, the ministry reported. Four earthquakes over 5.0-magnitude jolted the county from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (Beijing Time) Friday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center. A 6.4-magnitude earthquake was reported at 9:48 p.m., with the epicenter being monitored at 25.67 degrees north latitude and 99.87 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 8 km, the center said.
