Interviewed by Darden student Danyang Shen (Class of 2021) The professional career of University of Virginia Darden School of Business alumnus Run Yang (MBA ’14), CFA, has come with many labels. He has worked at state-owned enterprises, fast-acting online companies, as an investment banker and as a startup CFO. He currently serves as CFO at Hangzhou Miya Technology, where he is responsible for the company s board of directors, strategic investment and financing, finance, and legal affairs. Prior to joining Miya, Yang worked in corporate and investment banking, including at Citibank and Deutsche Bank. In addition, Yang has worked at Alibaba and China North Industries Corporation for many years, where he gained extensive experience in corporate investment and financing and financial management.
