The clinics will offer the Pfizer vaccine, and no health insurance is required to receive it. Students age 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and ID is required to prove their age, but other information, such as immigration status, will not be asked for or considered. We ve seen a real powerful uptick in vaccination levels now that younger people can get vaccinated, Mayor Bill de Blasio said during a Thursday news conference. New York City is ahead of the national average in youth vaccination.
