President Joe Biden is replacing Dr. Sean Conley with his longtime physician, Dr. Kevin O Connor, as the White House Medical Unit head.
Dr. Conley, who served as the physician to former President Donald Trump since being appointed in 2018, faced scrutiny after misleading the public about Trump s COVID treatment condition, CNN reported.

Birmingham: The Birmingham VA Health Care System is expanding its ability to vaccinate veterans against COVID-19, provided it can get enough doses. A partnership with the United Way of Central Alabama will allow the agency to provide as many as 1,000 shots a day beginning this week to veterans who are at least 65 years old, the VA said. That’s up from the current daily total of 300 people. The change comes because the VA’s vaccine clinic is moving into a United Way building in downtown Birmingham. Chief executive Stacy Vasquez said the system will schedule as many veterans as it can for shots, but obtaining additional vaccine is key. “Right now, I have enough vaccine to take care of 5,000 people next week. Giving newborn baby boys antibiotics could stunt their growth in the early years of life, a new study suggests.
Antibiotic treatment within 14 days of birth is linked with reduced weight and height in boys – but not girls – up to the age of six, experts found.
The researchers think the differences may result from changes in the development of the gut microbiome – the trillion-strong community of beneficial microorganisms.
However, antibiotics administered to babies older than 28 days could have the opposite effect, the research team also found.
Antibiotic use after the neonatal period (the first 28 days of life) but during the first six years of life was linked with higher body mass index, in both boys and girls.

WASHINGTON (AP) President Joe Biden has brought back Dr. Kevin O’Connor as his physician, replacing President Donald Trump’s doctor with the one who oversaw his care when he was vice president.
The White House confirmed that Dr. Sean Conley, the Navy commander who served as the head of the White House Medical Unit under Trump and oversaw his treatment when he was hospitalized with COVID-19, will assume a teaching role at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
O’Connor, a retired Army colonel, was Biden’s doctor during his entire tenure as vice president, having remained in the role at Biden’s request. He remained Biden’s physician while assuming a role on the faculty of George Washington University.
