Natasa Pantelic Former Prime Minister Tony Blair has endorsed the Labour candidate for the upcoming Chesham and Amersham by-election. Mr Blair, who led the Labour Party from 1994 to 2007 and was Prime Minster for ten years from 1997, first ran as a parliamentary candidate in the Beaconsfield constituency for a 1982 by-election. Slough councillor Natasa Pantelic was elected to stand for the party in the by-election to replace late MP Dame Cheryl Gillan, who sadly passed away over Easter. Mr Blair said in a video about Ms Pantelic: “Natasa is a fantastic local councillor, she knows what matters to local people, she’s going to do a great job bringing opportunities to young people, improving infrastructure and housing, and bringing investment to Chesham and Amersham.
