The public’s chance to quiz Bristol mayoral candidates
By Lowie Trevena, Monday Apr 26, 2021
With just over a week before Bristol votes for Bristol’s mayor, Bristol24/7 and Watershed are giving you the chance to ask the candidates questions you want answered.
The mayor of Bristol is the head of government of Bristol and was created after a referendum held in May 2012. The first mayor elected was independent George Ferguson followed by Labour’s Marvin Rees, who has held the position since 2016.
All nine of the Bristol mayoral candidates have been invited to answer questions posed by the public.
