MADISON (WXOW) In Tuesday s update, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services provided figures that said another 21,000 people are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Numbers from DHS show 2,350,330 people in the state have received at least one dose of the vaccine. That translates to 40.4 percent of state residents according to DHS. The figures show that 1,635,592 people, or 28.1 percent of the state s population, are now fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
In Western Wisconsin to date, 113,240 people have received at least one dose of the vaccine. It equates to 41.2 percent of the total number of people in Western Wisconsin. 81,078, or 29.5 percent, have completed the vaccine series.

The DHS figures show that 51,571 people or 43.7 percent of residents of La Crosse County have had at least one dose of the vaccine. 32,856 people in La Crosse County or 27.8 percent completed the vaccine series according to the state.

In Western Wisconsin to date, 106,627 people have received at least one dose of the vaccine. It equates to 38.8 percent of the total number of people in Western Wisconsin. 71,930, or 26.2 percent, have completed the vaccine series.
